“If we take ourselves to the future, whatever this may be and perhaps not that dissimilar from what we see in David Come Home, it will be complex and unclear. A complicated setup with all the problems we already see in our present. But perhaps by being open to these images, of David and his surroundings, we can find calm, poetry and solace. Simon shares some hope with all of us and by going back to these simple ideas, we may alleviate the pain from what is still to come.”
